Under our corporate philosophy, “Through the endless possibilities of chemistry, we bring happiness created by highly functional materials.” our company creates new value for stakeholders by focusing on our unique acrylic products, adhesives, and inorganic materials. Our products contribute to solving challenges in a wide range of fields, including mobility, electronics, construction, biomass, and medical.

Our company was established in Japan in 1944. From then through the 1960s, we launched a new caustic soda (NaOH) plant, became the first in Japan to commercialize acrylic acid esters, and began production of the instant adhesive ARON ALPHA. These and other core products, which laid the foundation of our company, have continued to be supplied stably to this day. From around the 1960s, we also developed acrylic polymers, flocculants, and UV-curable resin ARONIX, thereby contributing to the advancement of industries in a wide range of fields such as mobility, electronic materials, medical, and biomass. Beginning with the establishment of Toagosei America in 1989, we have successively set up business bases overseas and have been actively promoting global business expansion. Our subsidiary in Thailand was established in 2016.
